Hanging Out with the BFF's {ELKWEEK2014}

Last Wednesday, I went to the lake during #ELKWEEK2014 with my home girls Lauren and Kiara! ELK came from a magazine that we created in 6th grade lol. It was pretty legit I must say. Lauren, Kiara, and I had came to a new middle school from the same elementary school, so we'd been friends for a long time already. So when we got to this new middle school we kid of bonded together and kept each other close. Lol this explanation is kind of all over the place, but during middle school we really became best friends. Lauren moved out of state after 7th grade and Kiara moved schools after 7th grade. Though there's been distance, we finally got to create a week dedicated to our friendship and just being together! Here's what I wore for one of the days!

The Fourth!

Even thought it's well passed the fourth, it was such a memorable night! I can still taste the Elephant Ears that I enjoyed and I can hear all the cool carnival rides and people. I saw lots of friends there, and I got to hang with my bestfriend, Harpreet! I decided to show my spirit by wearing my American colors, but also adding in a kind of hip funky look. I decided to wear my red headband, this crazy jacket that my mom gave me from her closet, this cream Ralph Lauren top, and my cool blue shorts from Charlotte Russe! I also had my cool black sandals and my cute little purse, earrings, and necklace all from Forever 21. Sorry if I look dorky, I was having such a great time lol.

Out with the Ladies

The other day, I went out with my friends to Apple Bee's! We all looked very well put together. I chose to wear my new jeans from Wetseal, my animal print top, my new chain purse, and my cute Love Culture shoes. We also went shopping and I purchased some more jeans from Rue 21. Seems to be one of the only places that I can find pants long enough for me. :P Our last stop was Barnes and Nobles, where I decided to pick up a Vogue magazine and educate my self on the latest fashions! I later bought a huge book of 500 pages on fashion, and a rather large magazine so that I can study over the summer.

Paris Persuasion

I was overly excited to wear my first gold chain! EVERY FASHIONISTA NEEDS A CHAIN! So I felt pretty legitimate when I got it. So don't judge my crazy picture lol. But I had a soft summer cotton candy type of feel in this outfit. This is a new top I got from Charlotte Russe for $10. Love this tank. It'll definitely be a repeatedly worn shirt.

Fun Sun Dress Friday!

At the beginning of the day I had on a different look on with this dress, but I grew dissatisfied and changed it up a bit. I had lots of fun in this cute dress that I got altered! I had this cool hat on that I found and some cool sandals I 'stole' (borrowed) from my mom :)

Vaca-like Attire

I had these awesome pants on today that I got from Body Central for $9! I love them so much! They're very flowy and fun! I had a solid black sleeveless top that helped make the pants the focus point of the entire outfit.

Pant Print Palooza

It's crazy how clothes can come back in style after so many years! These pants were originally owned by my great grandmother! The pants are so unique, and set an atmosphere. They are definitely the focus point of the entire outfit.

Aztec Print

Aztec prints are totally trending now! Everyone is finding their inner tribal style and wearing tribal leggings and sweaters. I decided to embrace my tribal style as well. I created some mitch-match-madness and pair my brown top, black blazer, and mustard pants with some red shoes! Don't be afraid to add some different vibes to an outfit like I did here.
